Spoofy: An Entertaining Educational Game for Kids
Spoofy is an entertaining educational game that introduces children to the vocabulary and concepts of cybersecurity. The game teaches them how to identify online dangers and provides guidance on how to avoid them. In Spoofy, players take on the role of everyday cyber heroes who help their friends solve puzzles in the cyber world. The game explores four familiar settings in children's daily lives: home, school, grandma's house, and the city. Each setting focuses on different aspects of online safety, including device and software security, internet etiquette, trustworthiness, and privacy protection. Spoofy is a collaborative effort between CGI Suomi Oy, Traficom's Cybersecurity Center, the State Development Company Vake, Nordea Bank, the Finnish National Agency for Education, and the cities of Espoo, Turku, and Jyväskylä.
